For a long time, Shiyun nylon cable ties have always adhered to the internationally recognized UL standards and conducted standardized and scientific inspections and tests on finished nylon cable ties from time to time.
According to UL official standards, nylon cable ties should be able to work at temperatures as low as -30°C and as high as 85°C, and this is the official value we adhere to. All of our standard cable ties are tested under these conditions.
Next, I will explain in detail the testing requirements under the UL standard:
Product placement/installation is the same as above and will not be repeated here.
Place the sample in a high and low temperature cycle box, with the low temperature set to -30°C and the high temperature set to 85°C.
Repeat the cycle of “high temperature for 2 hours, low temperature for 1 hour, high temperature for 2 hours, low temperature for 18 hours, high temperature for 2 hours, low temperature for 1 hour, high temperature for 2 hours, and low temperature for 1 hour”. 1 hour” four times. This step tests the performance of cable ties after continuous exposure to extreme temperatures.
After the test, let the sample sit for a while, then remove the tie from the cylinder (making sure the surface is not cracked) and install it on the tensile testing machine. The tensile strength should not be less than 50% of the standard value. If the tensile strength requirements are met, the test is considered passed.
